I live in Canada, and as most know, it snows here quite a bit and we do get icey/slippery roads. I am interested in buying a 2001 or 2002 Chevrolet Corvette, and am wondering if it is driveable in winter conditions.
1. How will it perform on snow/ice?
2. If traction is a problem, can it be solved with winter tires?
3. If there is anything else i should know about driving/owning a corvette in winter, please share.
All of the answers are highly appreciated, I just have one thing to add on. I can remember hearing something like salt used to melt snow on the roads can burn your corvette in some way? And also, if it isn't at its best in the snow, is it ok on slush and wet roads?
